Facilities - Fold House Caravan Park in Lancashire

As you would expect from a five star park our facilities, services and security on the park are maintained to the highest standards.

Bowling Green

On the park is a large bowling green, a popular facility used throughout the season for sedate games to friendly competitions. Benches are provided for those who wish to spectate.

Private Fishing Lake

A short walk from the back of the park you will find our own private fishing lake, stocked with carp, mirror carp, bream and many more varieties. Open to clients of Fold House Park only this is where many people happily spend hours enjoying the tranquillity and searching for that all-important 'big catch'. With pegs specifically designed for wheelchair users this is something that everyone can enjoy.

Library

The well-used trust library on the park continues to go from strength to strength with hundreds of new books added each season there is something for everyone. Next to the library you will find the Information Room where brochures and leaflets can be found for a whole host of local attractions and events.

Heated Outdoor Swimming Pool & Paddling Pool

Heated outdoor swimming and paddling pool complement the facilities for those who enjoy the water. With a fully equipped wheelchair friendly shower room and WC nearby. Leading off the park, away from the peace and quiet, there is a large children's play area which includes a football field, swings, slide, adventure trail and picnic area.

wi-fi Internet

For those who yearn for the peace and quiet a holiday home at Fold House provides but who cannot be 'out of touch' with their busy lives we have wi-fi internet access points across the park. There are two public access points (in Reception and in the Information Room) and connectivity achievable inside the majority of Holiday Homes.

Beautiful Grounds

Beautifully landscaped and planted the grounds are complimented by illuminated water features and pools stocked with exotic fish. Fold House Park has been awarded several conservation awards.

All the roads on the Park are fully developed with kerbside edging, and private parking, in most cases, is next to each holiday home for convenience.

Security

We take security very seriously, access is by the main gate only which has a security barrier controlled by coded key, only holiday home owners may have access to and from the park. Both the main entrance and the reception areas are monitored by 24 hour cctv.

*NB Wi-Fi internet access is a chargeable optional service provided. Fishing does require an Environment Agency Rod License.
